岗位职责
In this role, you will be responsible for the complete design and development of photonic integrated circuits, based on established optical PDKs from our foundry partners. You will also interact with device, hardware, and software design teams to assist in the overall development of photonic systems, specifying, selecting, and qualifying the various components necessary. ● Design, layout and test high-performance photonics devices suitable for high-volume manufacturing ● Contribute and own large-scale photonic layouts for high-volume products ● Actively collaborate across disciplines, with analog, digital, and physical design teams to tape-out products and characterization devices. ● Work with the photonics test team in defining requirements for device characterization, debug and validation ● Works on broader organizational projects that require a thorough understanding of photonics ● Analyze characterization data to ensure the device/system meets the specifications ● Mentor junior design engineers
职位要求
● M.S./Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering，Computer Science, Applied Physics or similar disciplines ● 8 years and a Master’s degree; PhD with 5 years’ experience; or equivalent experience ● In-depth knowledge of photonic devices and their modeling algorithms：waveguides, couplers, photodetectors, electro-optic modulators, micro-ring resonators ● Proficiency with photonic simulation tools such Ansys FDTD, Tidy3D, Photon Design or similar ● Experience with PDK and Cadence environments ● Experience with large-scale photonic layouts using industry standard and/or custom tools ● Self-driven, excellent problem solving and analytical skills, good communication skills and a strong team player. ● Local and international travel may be required.
