About the Role We are looking for a Public Affairs Manager to join our Financial Public Affairs team and support our rapidly growing fintech global business. Based in Hong Kong or Shenzhen, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining strategic relationships with regulators, policymakers, and key industry stakeholders across Hong Kong and some of the other global markets. Responsibilities ●Establish and maintain proactive relationships with financial regulatory bodies, policymakers, and industry associations in Hong Kong and other key markets. Build group-level communication channels to stay informed of policy developments and advocate the company's business value. ●Monitor and interpret financial regulatory policies and trends across key jurisdictions. Coordinate regulatory sandbox applications, compliance initiatives, and strategic responses to support compliant business growth. ●Lead international licensing applications and market entry projects. Develop market entry strategies, compliance roadmaps, and regulatory research reports as needed. ●Actively participate in industry forums, regulatory consultations, and thought leadership initiatives to shape industry dialogue and elevate the company's profile. ●Partner with legal, compliance, and business teams across jurisdictions to align cross-border strategies and coordinate on major initiatives.

Requirements ●Minimum 5 years (candidates with 10+ years of senior experience are also welcome) of relevant experience in government relations, public policy, regulatory affairs, or a related field. ●Experience in regulatory compliance, whether gained in-house at a technology or internet company, at a law firm advising tech clients, in policy think tanks, or in-house government relations roles at financial institutions or fintech companies. Experience in financial regulatory bodies is a plus. ●Understanding of the regulatory and political landscape in Hong Kong and/or Singapore, including government structure, policy-making processes, and regulatory protocols. ●Familiarity with fintech regulation, digital payments, cross-border financial services, and/or related policy areas is highly desirable. ●Strategic thinking with the ability to connect regulatory developments to business strategy and provide forward-looking advice. ●Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. ●Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin is a must; proficiency in Cantonese or other languages is a strong plus.
