As a Strategic Investment Manager, you will:
- Work directly with senior management across global and domestic games markets.
- Lead projects related to our business development independently.
- Evaluate global gaming investment and BD opportunities.
- More importantly, drive development of new opportunities and incubate new businesses.
- Work in a team with high-calibre executives previously from top-tier consultancy firms and investment banks.
- You will be responsible for supporting decision-makings for executives and leaders of business groups.
- Provide game changing strategy and inspire out-of-the-box thinking to senior leader.
- Plan and manage business incubation, drive product innovation and new partnerships, develop and execute go-to-market plan.
- Make key investment decisions.
- Monitor domestic and global game market. Identify emerging industry/technology trends. Who We Look For
- Have around 5 years of work experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, PE/VC and related Internet industry.
- Demonstrate strategic visions, business insights and in-depth knowledge of the gaming/media/entertainment industry, and other related markets (preferably a gamer!).
- Ability in interpretation of data and identify emerging market trends and business opportunities.
- Must be a self-starter, comfortable with uncertainty, and ability to drive to answers through disciplined work, while also collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Are effective team players with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional proficiency with MS Excel & PowerPoint; working knowledge of statistics and analysis packages.
- Have an entrepreneurial spirit. Location State(s) US-California-Los Angeles, US-California-Palo Alto, US-New York State-New York The expected base pay range for this position in the location(s) listed above is $80,168.40 to $233,200.00 per year. Actual pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Employees hired for this position may be eligible for a sign on payment, relocation package, and restricted stock units, which will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Subject to the terms and conditions of the plans in effect, hired applicants are also eligible for medical, dental, vision, life and disability benefits, and participation in the Company’s 401(k) plan. The Employee is also eligible for up to 15 to 25 days of vacation per year (depending on the employee’s tenure), up to 13 days of holidays throughout the calendar year, and up to 10 days of paid sick leave per year. Your benefits may be adjusted to reflect your location, employment status, duration of employment with the company, and position level. Benefits may also be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
