Ant International-Investment Associate Director-HK-Global Strategic Partnership & Investment

We are seeking an experienced and vision-driven Associate Director to join our Strategic Investments team. As part of a high-growth fintech and payments leader, you will work closely with senior leadership to shape our international expansion and execute high-impact regional investments. In this role, you will lead end-to-end investment initiatives in emerging and high-growth markets—offering a rare, front-row opportunity to drive the growth of the digital payments ecosystem and witness the transformation of an entire industry in new frontiers. Key Responsibilities: ● Strategic Alignment: Partner with business leaders to define and refine investment strategies supporting global expansion. ● Deal Sourcing & Pipeline Management: Identify, screen, and evaluate potential investment opportunities, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships aligned with long-term corporate objectives. ● End-to-End Deal Execution: Lead end-to-end transaction processes, including structural design, comprehensive due diligence, negotiation of definitive agreements, and presentation of investment memos to the Investment Committee. ● Portfolio Management & Value Creation: Monitor and support portfolio companies’ operational and financial performance, working with management teams to drive strategic value. ● Post-Merger Integration: Collaborate closely with the Integration Office to maximize post-acquisition synergies and ensure sustainable business growth.

● Education: Bachelor’s degree or above from a top-tier university with a strong academic background. ● Professional Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in top-tier Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Venture Capital (or equivalent corporate development/M&A roles). Prior exposure to FIG, TMT, or Fintech sectors is highly preferred. ● Project Leadership: Self-driven and capable of independently leading complex transactions while effectively managing internal and external stakeholders. ● Strategic & Analytical Mindset: Strong technical, financial modeling, and analytical capabilities with high attention to detail. Intellectually curious and adaptable to new business models, deal structures, and cross-border nuances. ● Communication & Languages: Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills. Fully bilingual in English and Mandarin. ● Mobility: Willingness and ability to travel internationally as needed.
