岗位职责
- Provide primary legal support and advice to the international global payment and related business teams on a wide variety of cross-border and domestic legal and regulatory matters, including drafting, negotiating and reviewing contracts, conducting legal analysis on new product initiatives and advising on legal and regulatory developments in relation to the business.
- Lead legal support on key global payment and related initiatives to build and empower our global digital platform to provide payment related services to our partners across numerous jurisdictions.
- Working closely with compliance, AML & sanctions, privacy, IP and litigation teams to ensure regulatory risks are properly managed.
- Working closely with other internal stakeholders from other jurisdictions and multiple disciplines, including business development, finance, foreign exchange, tax, risk, funds and operations.
- Supporting the internal review and approval processes for new strategic initiatives.
- Managing legal policies and procedures for the business.
- Managing external legal counsel as needed in an effective and efficient manner.
- Escalating issues, as appropriate, and partnering collaboratively with other team members to support Ant International.

- Bachelor or above degree in law.
- A minimum working experience of 5-8 years PQE.
- Must have substantial experience in financial services in the region, preferably in payment and/or cross-border financial regulated businesses.
- Preferred: common law legal qualification with international law firm training and prior experience in financial regulatory businesses (inhouse experience a plus).
- Strong regulatory/compliance knowledge and skills, especially in relation to payment in Asia.
- Excellent technical, drafting, negotiation and analytical skills together with practical commercial acumen.
- Must be a team-player, highly motivated self-starter and eager learner with excellent project management skills.
- Demonstrable advocacy and oral and written communication skills, including the ability to influence different business functions. Mandarin (both spoken and written) language capability is a must.
- Excellent people management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines and to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Travelling within Mainland China and Asia to be expected.
